Minneapolis, MN January 17, 2007 - The Upper Midwest Security Alliance (UMSA) will hold its second annual Secure360º Conference on May 22-23 at St. Paul RiverCentre.
The UMSA consists of the Minnesota chapters of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), along with the Business Continuity Planners Association (BCPA). The annual Secure360º Conference is a key part of the alliance's objective of bringing its resources together to better serve each group's members, supplier partners and the public.
"Last year's inaugural conference was a huge success, and we're expecting this year's event to be bigger and better, with more exhibitors and more attendees" said Rick Ensenbach, President of the Upper Midwest Security Alliance (UMSA).
Ensenbach said that the 2007 conference also aims at making attendance even more affordable and convenient. "For instance, we're maintaining the same low cost for exhibitors and workshop attendance; and admittance to the trade show will be free. Those attending will only need to pick up a name badge to get in. We're also holding the trade show in the ballroom, on the same floor as the conference workshops, so access will be more convenient, Ensenbach said.
Ensenbach said that, like the 2006 conference, this year's event will offer a wide range of general and educational sessions. Workshops will provide members with extensive opportunities for learning, networking and sharing information on the latest advances in business security solutions and security technology.
According to Ensenbach, the conference expects more than 80 exhibitors for the two-day trade show, representing products and services for data protection, physical security information systems forensics, audit and control systems, and continuity planning.
Everyone interested in attending the Secure360º Conference should visit the event’s Website at www.secure360.org for more information. "We'll add workshops, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors as we confirm them, so people should check back at the website frequently from now until the conference," said Ensenbach.
The USMC currently is accepting applications for exhibition space and sponsors, as well as from workshop presenters. For more information, contact Kathy Felber, Show Manager, at 952-893-1293 or coordinator@secure360.org or visit our website at www.secure60.org.
